Following the success of the Christmas Fayre in December, Seonaid, Dawn and the others have decided to run another fayre in the back room on this date

There is a separate poster up in house with all the exhibitors attending

The Beatles Theme Night- Sat 31st March.9pm

This is the third year of a Beatles theme night which we will be having as part of Dalriadas monthly theme program.

Robin/Gordon/Pat/ John assure me there is enough material to run this for ever as there are always new songs for them to learn

Edinburgh Festival of Ireland (15TH-18TH March)

This is the second year of this festival. Please see their website where they have listed a host of activities which will be taking place throughout the city www.edinburghsfestivalofireland.org

For its part Dalriada will be one of the participants and has a full program during this time e.g.

Thursday 15th 8.30. A special quiz with all rounds devoted to Irish questions on Culture, History, Sport, Humour, Literature etc

Friday 16th 9pm The Friday Fireside will have a special emphasis on Irish songs and tunes as will the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions

Look our for Absolutely Legless Scotland’s acclaimed Irish Dancing group who will be on premise on Sunday afternoon

We will have Irish Stew, Soda Bread etc. Of course plenty of Guiness/Magners/Baileys/Jamesons/Bushmills

St Patrick’s day is Saturday 17th and there is a big game of Rugby on v England

D’Arcy Smith Celebration Night -Sat 3rd March.8pm

We all untimely lost a wonderful character here. Therefore D’Arcy’s friends have rallied together to organise a comemerative night.

He loved live music and all the craic that went with it, so lots of his musician friends have rallied to perform a variety of songs in his memory

John Johnson of Dream Tobacco together with Pat Hackett are coordinating this event.

Their only request is that you turn up wearing a hat of some sort, just like D’Arcy always did when he went out.
